Food firms in Singapore are jumping on the mystery box trend, selling surprise bundles of unsold food at a discount to cut waste and earn some extra income. Mostly done via mobile apps, it's proving to be a hit so far, with one getting up to around 160,000 sign-ups since it launched last year. Eugene Chow reports.
