Space upgrades, mentorships among new developments in cultural districts

Singapore’s historic districts are expanding community and cultural programmes with government support. The aim is to strengthen ethnic identities and social cohesion. The revamped Malay Heritage Centre will reopen with new facilities, including a dedicated research unit and youth mentorship schemes. In Little India, stakeholders will shape a long-term vision for the precinct.
