St Luke's ElderCare expands training academy to strengthen community care workforce
St Luke's ElderCare has expanded its training academy to equip more than 3,000 community care professionals with new skills over the next three years. The academy offers around 40 courses. It focuses on workplace-based learning while creating pathways for students, caregivers, volunteers and mid-career switchers to enter the sector. A new senior care centre at Temasek Polytechnic will also serve as a learning lab for future care professionals. Chloe Teo reports.
