Light to Night 2026: Longest and largest rendition of festival celebrates diverse communities

02:27 Min

The Light to Night festival is back for its largest and longest run yet, marking its 10th year with a four-week programme celebrating diverse communities. For the first time, works by Singapore’s indigenous Orang Laut are featured, alongside contributions from migrant workers, artists with different abilities and faith groups. Extending beyond the Civic District into nearby malls, the festival aims to bring art closer to more people through collective participation and shared experiences. It runs until the end of January. Muhammad Bahajjaj reports.
