SLA launches tender for Adam Park heritage bungalows to be used for serviced apartments
The Singapore Land Authority has launched a tender for the iconic Adam Park heritage bungalows on a 30-year lease. It's seeking a developer to rejuvenate the site, while preserving the historical and architectural character of the 19 conserved prewar homes. According to the SLA, the bungalows are to be operated as serviced apartments. Office, childcare centre or food and beverage uses will be allowed at only two bungalows. Developers will need to meet strict conservation requirements, including protecting the buildings' original features and preserving wartime artefacts found on site. The tender closes in August.
