Singapore has granted conditional approval to renewable energy firm Sun Cable to import 1.75 GW of solar energy from Australia. With plans to import more clean energy, Singapore is working with countries like Australia to recognise such green energy imports via Renewable Energy Certificates that offset greenhouse gas emissions.
