Sun Xueling on keeping preschools safe for children
Preschools must ensure a safe and conducive environment for children to learn, play and develop. The Early Childhood Development Agency takes a serious view of child mismanagement in preschools, said Minister of State for Social and Family Development Sun Xueling. Replying to an MP's question in Parliament on Friday (Mar 4), she outlined the measures in place to protect preschoolers from violence, neglect and abuse, as well as act quickly on cases of alleged violence. Serious cases will be referred to the police for investigation, she said.
