Students who test positive for COVID-19 through an antigen rapid test (ART) at home do not need to produce a medical certificate (MC) to cover their absence from school, even for a weighted assessment or examination. Schools may ask them to provide photo evidence of their ART-positive result. Minister of State for Education Sun Xueling said this in Parliament on Monday (Apr 4) in answer to an MP’s questions.
