Syed Harun Alhabsyi on dropout rates for SkillsFuture programmes

In 2025, more than 90 per cent of learners completed their SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) courses. SSG does not process fee waiver requests for learners who fail to complete their courses. It encourages training providers to work with learners to find a mutually acceptable solution, which could include cost deferments, make-up lessons or reassessments. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Education Syed Harun Alhabsyi said this in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Thursday (May 7).
