Sylvia Lim on Coroners (Amendment) Bill

Ms Lim also asked about giving the Law Minister the power to release a body at the request of a foreign state. This is if the cause of death, such as injury or onset of a medical condition, took place outside Singapore, or if the person was or had been a government official. She pointed to the possibility that the foreign country’s motivation was to cover up an assassination.
