Tan Kiat How on engaging social media influencers
The Ministry of Communications and Information does not have a budget specifically for engaging social media influencers, said Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information Tan Kiat How in reply to an MP’s questions on Wednesday (Mar 6). Speaking in Parliament, he said that social media influencers are just one of the channels used to communicate to Singaporeans and they may be engaged if they can complement broader communications efforts. He added that the ministry evaluates the effectiveness of the public communications campaigns, but does not solely track how influencers fare.
