Tan Kiat How on HDB carpark sites for commercial farming
Sixteen HDB multi-storey carpark (MSCP) sites have been given the green light for commercial farming. Another six MSCP rooftops have been repurposed into community gardens. Minister of State for National Development Tan Kiat How gave this update in reply to an MP's questions in Parliament on Friday (Mar 4). He said agencies are evaluating the outcomes of the first two tenders before deciding on future plans. He added that NParks will continue to work with town councils and Neighbourhood Committees to set up more community gardens.
