Tan Kiat How on more options for Stay-Home Notice Dedicated Facilities

The Government is looking into providing more options for dedicated Stay-Home Notice facilities to meet the preferences and budgets of travellers. Minister of State for National Development Tan Kiat How said this in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 25) in reply to an MP's question. He said the Stay-Home Notice Dedicated Facilities (SDF) system has served about 190,000 travellers since it started in March 2020. Travellers cannot choose their SDF and have to pay a standard fee. Appeals for room arrangements for specific needs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
