From time to time, the Communicable Diseases Agency will need to conduct ground operations, such as tuberculosis (TB) screening, to contain disease outbreaks. A key success factor for such operations is clear communication with residents. The public will need to know exactly what to expect and be assured that the risk of transmission through casual visits or sharing a meal was low. Also needed are measures to minimise disruptions to businesses and the community.
