Tan Kiat How on protecting marine spaces

The National Parks Board (NParks) will continue to research the ecological status and functions of Singapore's marine areas and study how best to protect them. These include considering additional marine parks. Senior Minister of State for National Development Tan Kiat How, who said this in reply to MPs' questions in Parliament on Monday (Nov 28), said NParks will also work with the marine community, research institutes and industry partners to study the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems and develop solutions.
