Tan See Leng on Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass (ONE Pass)
About 3,000 Overseas Networks & Expertise Passes (ONE Passes) were issued in 2024, of which about one in six were new entrants to Singapore. The top three sectors that ONE Pass holders were employed in were financial and insurance services, information and communications and professional services. Manpower Minister Tan See Leng gave the details in Parliament on Wednesday (Feb 5) in response to MPs’ questions. He said his ministry is working with other sector agencies to increase outreach to global talent and raise awareness of the pass. He added that ONE Pass holders are encouraged to take part in local programmes to mentor, network and exchange insights with current and future generations of local leaders.
