In Parliament on Wednesday (Jan 10), Manpower Minister Tan See Leng responded to an earlier remark by NCMP Hazel Poa about CPF accounts being “emptied” by scammers. He also said CPF safeguards are no less stringent than those of banks and that since Singpass facial verification was implemented in June 2023, no unauthorised losses had been observed.
