Ukraine faces demographic crisis with rapidly ageing population

Millions of Ukrainians fled the country when Russia’s full-scale invasion began. A majority of them were young, working-age people, leaving behind an elderly population exposed to the ravages of war - including mass displacement, and falling into poverty. Ukraine is now facing the challenges of taking care of one of the fastest-ageing populations in the world. Megumi Lim reports from Kyiv.
