Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says updated and transparent rules on trade are needed as countries increasingly look after their own interests. On the final day of the APEC forum in Bangkok, he notes it is possible for Asia-Pacific economies to work together towards free trade ideals, even if free trade within the whole zone remains a long way off.
