Vote on motions on securing Singaporeans’ jobs and livelihoods, and foreign talent policy

On Wednesday (Sep 15), Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin proceeded to deal with the vote on two motions, following a debate which started at about 2pm on Tuesday (Sep 14) and ended at about 12.30am. Parliament passed the motion by Finance Minister Lawrence Wong on securing Singaporeans’ jobs and livelihoods, and rejected the motion by Progress Singapore Party NCMP Leong Mun Wai.
