Rahayu Mahzam on subsidies of patients transferred from National Healthcare Group to SingHealth

Subsidised patients who are transferred to another public healthcare institution can continue the medical care and retain their subsidy status without the need for a polyclinic referral. Minister of State for Health Rahayu Mahzam said this in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Thursday (Sep 25) - on whether subsidised patients can be transferred directly from a National Healthcare Group hospital to a SingHealth hospital without needing a new polyclinic referral to maintain their subsidies.
