Hazlina Abdul Halim on National Council of Social Service (Amendment) Bill

The National Council of Social Service (Amendment) Bill shows the sector's evolution and its aspirations, and reflects the level of stewardship now required of it, said MP Hazlina Abdul Halim. She stressed the need for the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) to continue to elevate its efforts in developing a sector that is capable, trusted and responsive to the evolving needs of society. Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Jan 13), she highlighted the important role that NCSS must continue to play, as well as the importance of effective leadership and ground-up initiatives.
