Ensuring that critical legal and housing transactions can be completed digitally and securely is not just a tech upgrade, but a future-proofing measure, said MP Wan Rizal as he welcomed the proposals. In parliament on Wednesday (Oct 15), he asked if training or transition support will be provided for smaller law firms and service providers, while also making the new systems inclusive for members of the public who may struggle with digital tools or language. He wanted to know what cybersecurity standards will be implemented to build public confidence where legally binding documents and large sums of money or assets are involved.
