Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Nov 4), he stressed the need to guide workers and companies through challenges with calm, respect and trust. He said the Workplace Fairness (Dispute Resolution) Bill reflects this partnership in action - workers assured of fair redress, employers confident of clear processes and a society strengthened by mutual respect. “It is truly a bill that is pro-worker, pro-employer and pro-Singapore,” he said.
