War on Iran: Iran downs 2 US warplanes; Tehran and Washington search for missing pilot
US and Iranian forces are racing to find a missing American pilot from a fighter jet that was shot down in southern Iran. The airman was from one of the two American warplanes shot down in separate incidents. Tehran said it shot down a F-15 fighter jet and US officials said only one out of the two crew members have been rescued. Two Black Hawk helicopters were reportedly deployed for search efforts, but were forced to leave after getting hit by Iranian fire.
