WP unveils a total of 14 new faces for GE2025
The Workers' Party remains tight-lipped on its full slate of potential candidates and where they will stand. Party chief Pritam Singh says it is very well known that the WP is very small party, and it has to be mindful of its strategy. The WP is playing its cards close to its chest even as it completes unveiling 14 new faces who will potentially make their first election outing. The final batch includes start-up founder Michael Thng, communications practitioner Jackson Au, and former US Navy administrator Paris V Parameswari. Mr Singh says there are also some spare candidates. There were eight Workers' Party MPs in the last parliament. They are incumbent in Aljunied GRC, Sengkang GRC, as well as Hougang SMC.
