Singapore must remain vigilant against new COVID-19 variants, but is there a need to extend control measures for another year? Asking this in Parliament on Friday (Mar 11), MP Yip Hon Weng called on the Government to set specific "goalposts" to extend measures for periods of time. He also suggested simplifying and standardising safe management measures for coffee shops, hawker centres and wet markets. Mr Yip also wanted the Government to continue encouraging unvaccinated people to get their jabs.
