Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim on ensuring adequate support from financial assistance schemes

The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) is monitoring the impact of the current economic situation on low-income families and is prepared to make adjustments as needed. Minister of State for Social and Family Development Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim, who said this in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Wednesday (Apr 8), pointed out that MSF reviews the ComCare per capita household income benchmark regularly. The ComCare assistance rates are also regularly adjusted to ensure adequate support, he said.
