Jackson Board reports on climate change and sustainability, and also travels regularly throughout the region for breaking and feature news coverage.

Jackson's career highlights with CNA include covering the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, on the ground disaster reporting following Typhoon Haiyan in 2013, the 2015 Nepal earthquake, the national elections in Myanmar in 2015 and in the Philippines in 2016.

Some of his other notable assignments have been in South Sumatra where he covered the dangerous haze, the Brazil World Cup, and sleeping in the jungle in the pursuit of illegal loggers in Cambodia's south.

Jackson is a keen photographer and videographer, which forms a crucial role in delivering digital-first coverage. Jackson cut his teeth in the industry at Sky News Australia and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Journalism) from Charles Sturt University.
