Feb 24 : Indian salt-to-software Tata conglomerate's executive chairman N Chandrasekaran has sought a deferment of discussion on his reappointment, after disagreements broke out in the board meeting of Tata Sons on Tuesday, the Economic Times reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Tata Sons did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
