Feb 24 : Two Federal Reserve officials on Tuesday said they do not expect artificial intelligence technology to drive a massive upheaval in the economy.

“I am, I would say a cautious optimist in this space,” Federal Reserve Bank of Boston President Susan Collins said at a conference held by her bank. She said workers so far appear to be enhanced by AI rather than displaced, in a view echoed by Richmond Fed President Thomas Barkin, who spoke on the same panel.
