Uzen Tan, 30, was retrenched from his tech sector job in April 2025. In the midst of sending out over 300 job applications with little progress, he decided to something different to get noticed. He hung a personal advertisement on the seat of his private hire vehicle and documented on social media his uplifting encounters with passengers who took notice. Many of his videos went viral. Uzen, who eventually found a job through a personal connection, shares with us the most valuable insights he's gained through his journey.
