  • Jason Chan, who gave up a career as a doctor to pursue acting and found himself co-starring as the Green Ranger in the 2003 series of the Power Rangers; Jason is currently an entrepreneur in Singapore.
  • Jolene Poh, who was diagnosed with a degenerative physical condition as a baby; today in her 20's, she's started a T-shirt brand with inspirational messages (chosen and designed by herself) to uplift others.
  • Jee Suhaimi, who grew up in an unstable home environment; today as a young man, helps mentor other youths-at-risk through his charity organisation, Membina Community.

She’ll speak with the performers who star as legends Freddie Mercury and Brian May in the tribute concert “Queen: It’s a Kinda Magic”. Warren Vernon-Driscoll will talk about how he prepared for his role as Queen’s enigmatic lead singer, the late Freddie Mercury. Rusty Red talks about how he’s channeling his version of guitar hero Brian May..

In ‘Made in SG’ Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Nura J, founder of Pearlista - a hijab-friendly Muslimah hair salon with three branches in Singapore. Nura will talk about the paths that led her to entrepreneurship: from being an actress, then teacher, to then becoming a real estate agent and now, founder of Pearlista. Nura will recall what it was like setting up her hair salon and how it exclusively serves female customers with its various hair and scalp services. She’ll also talk about how she brought the brand to new heights – by producing its own line of products such as anti-hair fall shampoos to remedy conditioners.

In ‘Culture Club’ Melanie Oliveiro speaks with the creatives and performers involved in the production “Yusof: Portrait of a President”, based on the life and times of Singapore’s first President, Yusof Ishak. An Esplanade commission staged by local theatre company Teater Ekamatra, “Yusof” traces the President’s beginnings as a journalist to becoming Singapore’s first head of state. Cast members Sani Hussain, Siti Khalijah and Fauzie Laily will discuss their roles that offer a glimpse into the life and times of Yusof Ishak who dedicated his life in service to Singapore.
