Sudden increase in floaters moving across your vision, flashes of light and sudden blurring or loss of vision in part of your sight – those are some common signs of retinal detachment. It occurs when the retina separates from the underlying tissue that nourishes it. The condition has gained attention after actor Elvin Ng revealed he had undergone emergency surgery for retinal detachment.
