Adj. Prof. Khoo See Meng is the recipient of the National Outstanding Clinician Educator Award 2025, recognising his work in bringing innovations to the training of young doctors and emphasising values in their holistic formation. Dr Khoo, who is the chairman of the Alexandra Hospital Medical Board, also spearheaded a new patient-centric "integrated general hospital model", which he says was conceived in large part because of his rapport with his trainee doctors. Dr Khoo shares his own formative journey as a doctor, the value he places on the relationships he forges in his work, and why he believes it's more important to "make the decision right" rather than making the right decision.
