Amanda Lim is one of Southeast Asia's fastest women in the pool. Over the course of almost two decades, Amanda has won 21 Gold medals at the SEA Games, seven of them for her signature event — the 50-metre Freestyle. Amanda, who competed in her final SEA Games in 2025 (in which she set a new games record), is now preparing for the 2026 Asian Games with a novel training method and a more mature philosophy on winning. Amanda reflects on her competitive journey, the deep self-awareness it's given her, and shares what she'd say in her letter to her younger self.
