Oscar Brekell is one of the few non-Japanese certified Japanese tea instructors and the author of five books on Japanese green tea. He is also the first non-Japanese to be certified in the preparation of handmade sencha. In between cold-brewing a delicious pot of "sencha yamakai" live on air, Oscar shares how he fell in love with Japanese tea as a teenager in his native Sweden, moved to Japanese shortly after, and dedicated himself to the pursuit of the perfect cup of sencha.
