Singapore’s economy is set to grow faster than earlier expected this year. That’s according to the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), which raised its GDP growth forecast to between 1.5 and 2.5 per cent – up from zero to 2 per cent. But there have been warnings surrounding the outlook for the rest of the year, with global growth likely to slow due to U.S reciprocal tariffs taking effect.
