Singapore’s consumer watchdog has found that 17 out of 22 baby-products sampled online — including cots, strollers and children’s accessories from popular platforms — failed to meet safety standards. Common hazards include cot sides too low or prone to collapse, stroller frames or wheels that break or pinch, and accessories with detachable parts or button batteries accessible to children.
