Singapore secondary schools are extending phone-use bans: students have to keep their smartphones locked away not only during classes, but also in recess, CCAs and other school-day activities. The aim is to reduce distractions and curb screen time, encouraging students to engage more in face-to-face social interactions and focus on learning.
