CNA938 Rewind - Johor’s postnatal confinement centres gain traction with Singapore parents

More Singaporean mothers are opting for confinement centres in Johor Bahru, drawn by lower costs and resort-like amenities compared to similar facilities in Singapore. These centres offer full-service postnatal care, with packages often half the price of local ones. Doctors, however, warn that cross-border travel soon after childbirth may pose health risks to both mothers and newborns.
