The G20 Summit is taking place this weekend (9 and 10 September) in New Delhi, India. US President Joe Biden is expected to arrive early. However, China's President Xi Jinping will be skipping the meeting, sending his premier instead. Tanvi Madan, Senior Fellow of Foreign Policy at Brookings, tells us if this is an opportunity for the US to strengthen relations with a key regional power, which has come across more ambivalent in recent years.
