In ‘Made in SG’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Grace Young, Board Member, Kenny Wang, Volunteer, Elaine Chin and Marya Malek, Staff Members at Ambulance Wish Singapore (AWS) – a non-profit organisation dedicated to granting the last wishes of terminally-ill patients. They talk about how AWS has granted wishes in the past and how wishes have changed over the years. They also share some stories of beneficiaries and what type of volunteers are needed to carry out various wishes. This comes on the edge of the AWS’ signature fundraising event, the Cycle of Peace (COP) 2024, a virtual cycling event that aims to raise more than S$200,000.
