News of the merger between the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and rival, Saudi-backed LIV Golf has stunned the sports world. Even the Tour’s most renowned golfers were unaware about the deal, which is a step towards creating a new for-profit worldwide golf entity, that has yet to be named.
