Daily Cuts - Preschool abuse case: Is the punishment proportionate to the crime?
ECDA or the Early Childhood Development Agency has come up with penalties for the preschool operator involved in the cases of abuse. They will be fined $5,000 and the principal of that school will also not be deployed in a similar role in a preschool. ECDA has also apologised for lapses in its own investigation. CEO Tan Chee Wee pledged to strengthen its processes and training.
