Donald Trump has become the first former US president to be a convicted felon, after a New York jury found him guilty of all 34 counts in a hush money trial. But Jared Mondschein, Director of Research, The United States Studies Centre told Andrea Heng and Hairianto Diman on Asia First that even if he does get the maximum 4-year sentence, he could still run for president from prison. And while Trump is likely to appeal the verdict, it's too early to tell if the case -- the smallest of all his other legal troubles -- will have an impact on his support base.
