Timothy De Souza was one of the first members of the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s official aerobatics team, known as the Black Knights. He recounts his memories of their debut on SAF Day at Changi Air Base in 1974, and his duties as Commander of the RSAF Flying Training School. He also describes Defence Minister Dr Goh Keng Swee’s instrumental role in turning our air force into one of the best in the region.
