What will Singapore be like in the future, as city planners, corporations and scientists find new ways to overcome land shortage? The ground under our feet, the sea around the island, even empty spaces above roads and canals might be used for transportation, storage, homes, offices and other infrastructure. 

The series showcases how other land-scarce cities Tokyo, Hong Kong, London and Helsinki use these unusual locations to overcome limited land, and what Singapore can learn from their experiences.
