They provide an additional layer should Lawrence decide to make some major changes (post election). What the 4G leadership lacks is exposure and depth ... bringing them (in) early ... is a good move.
Dr Walid Jumblatt on the dilemma facing politicians:
(The dilemma) is that the electorate wants to be followed and they want to be led as well. They want (leaders) to listen. But ultimately, they still want a strong personality in charge.
