14 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, all imported
SINGAPORE — Singapore reported 14 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday (Jan 26), all of them imported. There were no cases in the wider community, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.
All of the imported cases had been placed on stay-home notices upon their arrival here.
Thirteen of them had no symptoms.

Six work permit holders who arrived from Bangladesh, India and Indonesia; among them was one foreign domestic worker
One short-term visit pass holder who came from India to visit her child here
Overall, the number of new cases in the community has gone down from 14 in the week before to nine in the past week.
The number of cases with no known links in the community has also gone down from five in the week before to two in the past week.
UPDATES ON REMAINING CASES
The total number of infections in Singapore is now 59,366.
Of these, 59,086 people have fully recovered and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities, including 20 on Tuesday.
There are still 50 patients in hospitals.
“Of these, most are stable or improving, and none is in the intensive care unit,” said MOH.
Another 201 patients are isolated at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still tested positive for Covid-19.
Twenty-nine people have died from complications due to the disease.
